- three new rooms: alligator (content calendar), sunfish (whiteboard), whippoorwill (blog)
- bluegill graduated to flagship — public chat link, draft/publish, animated chat backgrounds
- yellowjacket reimagined as a skinny linktree-style card (websites are magnolia's job now)
- every module has its own settings gear — 30+ modules, knobs live where the work lives
- the bell is now the single source of "needs attention" — dashboard signal widget retired
- magnolia got multi-page sites, pawpaw embedded stripe onboarding, katydid got recurring + one-off expense tabs, plus 55 new help articles
v0.9 was about getting people through the door. v0.10 is the inside getting quieter and tighter — three new rooms, a clearer way to find what needs your attention, and a polish pass that touched almost every module.
three more rooms in the suite
alligator, sunfish, whippoorwill
- alligator — content planning calendar. plan your posts, emails, and announcements separately from publishing them. month + agenda views, three-state ladder (idea → ready → done), free-text channel labels (instagram, email blast, gbp post). promoted into the flagship lineup the day it shipped.
- sunfish — whiteboard. an infinite canvas for sketches, sticky notes, flowcharts, free-draw, and anything else you'd normally pull out a notebook for. each board is its own page; saves on every change.
- whippoorwill — blog. rich-text editor with autosave, your own categories, draft/publish states, per-post slugs. posts auto-pull into your magnolia site so you only write them once.
bluegill graduated
your ai chatbot is officially a flagship app
v0.9 launched bluegill (your own juniper-style chatbot trained on your business data). v0.10 finishes the polish and promotes it into the flagship lineup:
- public chat surface — every chatbot gets a shareable link at app.wymzy.ai/c/<slug>. point a customer at it directly.
- draft + publish — write a new version of your chatbot's prompt and personality while the live one keeps answering customers. publish when you're happy.
- animated chat backgrounds — thirteen full-screen variants you can pick from for the public chat page
- convert to lead — anything bluegill captures from a stranger files into marigold automatically
yellowjacket got rebuilt as a skinny linktree-style card
yellowjacket used to try to be both a digital business card and a website. that was the wrong shape. now magnolia is your website and yellowjacket is the skinny card you hand out — link-in-bio, vCard, NFC, wallet pass — wired into the rest of your suite data.
- right-panel website sections moved out (use magnolia for those)
- hero carousel + form-provider rebuild
- twin-row draft/publish — same "edit while the live one keeps working" pattern as bluegill
every module has its own settings gear
module knobs live in the module — not buried in global settings
each module now has a gear icon in its top-right that opens that module's own settings drawer. need to change pawpaw's invoice numbering? the gear in pawpaw. need to change foxfire's auto-reply tone? the gear in foxfire. global settings (account, billing, profile) stay global. module knobs live where you're already working.
30+ modules wired, all sharing one consistent settings primitive so they look and feel the same.
the bell is the single "needs attention" shelf
we used to have two places that told you something needed attention: the bell in the top nav, and a "signals" widget on the dashboard. two places drifting apart, both nagging you. v0.10 retired the dashboard widget. the bell is now the single source of truth for everything across the suite that wants your eyes.
- eight new daily background jobs feed events into the bell (overdue invoices, upcoming bookings, abandoned drafts, expiring credentials, etc.)
- per-module wires across bullfrog, marigold, otter, mayhaw, and pawpaw
open the bell, see what's there, act on it, get back to work. that's the whole loop.
a polish pass that touched almost every module
- magnolia — multi-page sites. compose more than one page, with a page-settings drawer for slug + meta on each.
- pawpaw — stripe onboarding moved inside the app. setting up payouts no longer kicks you out to stripe's hosted page; the whole flow happens in pawpaw.
- pawpaw — refund flow + a customer detail page that pulls every invoice for one customer in one place.
- katydid — bookkeeping got recurring expense + one-off expense tabs, editable transactions, a real ledger view, and tax forms reorganized by entity type (1120, 1120s, 1065, schedule c).
- cattail + firefly — punch cards now live exclusively in firefly. cattail is points-only, no more ambiguity. legacy punch columns dropped from the cattail schema.
- marigold + dragonfly — bulk delete + CSV import on leads.
- magpie + mockingbird — line-item picker overhaul. recently-used pinning, qty + price overrides, quick-add inside the picker. promoted to flagship.
- bullfrog — server-side zip for the "download all" button (sidesteps a r2 quirk that made the browser-side approach flaky).
- email-branding settings — pick how your customer-facing emails look and preview them before they go out.
- help articles — 55 new ones across the knowledge base.
magnolia publishes
you've been able to compose a magnolia site inside the suite for a few builds now. the next thing on the list is the publishing pipeline — point your own domain, or use a wymzy subdomain — so the site you've built actually lives somewhere on the internet.
