tl;dr
  • eight placeholder modules became real apps in one push
  • sparrow launched — sms marketing, split out of mudpuppy
  • magpie + mockingbird launched — separate price books for products and services
  • command-K palette in every app — jump anywhere from the top of the screen
  • sign-in on app.wymzy.ai is no longer broken (sorry)

we set a goal a couple weeks ago: every module in the suite earns its room. this build is that goal showing up. eight rooms that were sketches are now functional apps, two new rooms opened, and the chrome around all of them got tighter.

v0.7 · 01 new

eight modules went from sketch to working

things you can open and actually use now

  • mudpuppy — email campaigns. write once, segment by tags from your client list, send, watch open + click rates roll in. one-click unsubscribe handled for you.
  • katydid — bookkeeping. double-entry journal with sassafras receipts and pawpaw invoices flowing in automatically. a real p&l, no spreadsheets.
  • yaupon — customer portal. each of your customers gets a private home base where they see their bookings, invoices, files, and message history with you.
  • loblolly — e-signature. send a contract, customer signs from their phone, signed pdf files into bullfrog with a tamper-proof trail.
  • pecan — payroll. log a pay run and it lands in katydid as a journal entry. (provider integrations come next; this is the dashboard layer.)
  • oyster — entity vault. llc filings, ein letter, operating agreement, coi — one indexed shelf with renewal dates that nudge you 30 days out.
  • hummingbird — intake forms. send a link, customer fills it out, answers auto-attach to their dragonfly profile. eleven field types and conditional logic built in.
  • bluejay — money out. log vendor and contractor payments, they auto-post as journal entries in katydid. (bank + bill.com integrations come next.)
v0.7 · 02 split out

three new rooms — because cramming was making things worse

when two jobs share a roof, the room gets noisy

  • sparrow — sms marketing. text-message campaigns are different work than email, so they got their own room. sparrow is a placeholder for now; the sending pipeline lands next.
  • magpie — products price book. one canonical list of every product you sell. invoices, quotes, and the customer portal will pull line items from here so you stop retyping.
  • mockingbird — services price book. same idea, separate room, because services have durations and products don't. junebug will read service durations from here.
v0.7 · 03 improved

the chrome around everything got tighter

  • command-K palette in the top of every app — start typing the name of anything in the suite (a page, a person, a setting) and jump there. faster than the sidebar for almost everything.
  • crawdad calendar got a tab nav so you can flip between today, week, and month without losing your place.
  • marigold leads table — full address columns, clickup-style cell editing, sort and filter on every column. the leads pipeline finally feels like a real tool, not a list.
v0.7 · 04 fixed

two things we owe you a "sorry" for

  • sign-in on app.wymzy.ai was throwing a 500 because of a hosting config we missed. fixed and shipped same day. if you tried to log in and got bounced, that's why — try again.
  • our test suite was firing a real welcome email through resend every time a fake test user signed up — about 200 a day to nowhere. we didn't see it until quota started talking. sealed the leak; tests can't reach resend now unless they're testing resend itself.
v0.7 · 05 next up

connect the new rooms

magpie + mockingbird are catalogs today. next they get wired into pawpaw, mayhaw, junebug, and yaupon so picking a product or service on an invoice / quote / booking just works. and sparrow gets its sending pipeline.
