tl;dr
  • 14-day free trial, no card up front — add one any time to keep going. trial ends without a card? soft cutoff: you keep reading your data, you just can't write until you subscribe.
  • juniper onboarding rebuild — first sign-in is a six-slide intro: hi i'm juniper, your info, name your shop, drop your logo, the toolbelt, i'm in the corner.
  • every one of the 41 modules now has a first-visit guided tour, replayable from settings.
  • four placeholder modules became working apps: otter (promotions), sparrow (sms marketing), sweetgum (1099 contractors), bluegill (ai chatbot).
  • your business handle survives renames — change it in settings and old links keep redirecting forever.

v0.8 was the last batch of placeholder modules going from sketch to working. v0.9 is about getting people through the door — drop the card requirement, make the first sign-in feel like a guided welcome instead of a blank dashboard, and finish the walkthrough roster so every room has one.

14 days free, no card needed

come on in, look around, run your shop — decide later.

signup is now just an email and a password. no card, no stripe page, no commitment. you get every wymzy app for 14 days the moment you sign up.

add a card any time and the trial converts to a normal subscription at $29.99/month. when you do subscribe, your price stays your price — the bundle rate steps up over time as more apps come online, but anyone already in stays at the rate they signed up at.

didn't add a card by day 14? you don't get locked out. the suite goes read-only — you can still sign in, you can still see every contact, invoice, photo, and message you've put in. you just can't make new ones until you subscribe. nothing gets deleted; nothing disappears. add a card whenever and pick up where you left off.

your first sign-in feels like a welcome

six steps, juniper narrates, takes about a minute

old onboarding dropped you onto a blank dashboard with 41 apps in the sidebar and no idea where to start. v0.9 replaces that with a quick walkthrough from juniper:

  • juniper introduces herself and what wymzy is
  • your info — first name, last name, zip code, plus a short @handle for team chat
  • name your shop — required, becomes the name on your invoices, booking pages, and ai-receptionist greetings
  • drop your logo (or skip and add it later)
  • your toolbelt — the 10 flagship apps you'll spend the most time in, presented as a grid
  • where to find juniper after this — the pinecone in the bottom-right corner of every page

everything you tell juniper here is editable in settings forever. skip anything you'd rather come back to. replay the whole intro from settings if you want.

v0.9 · 03 improved

every room got its walkthrough

v0.8 wired guided tours across 25 modules. v0.9 closes the gap: katydid, magnolia, cypress, tortoise, cricket, otter, bluegill, sparrow, and sweetgum all got first-visit tours. that means all 41 of the suite's modules walk you through their screen the first time you open them, and you can replay any of them from the walkthroughs section in settings.

four more apps went from placeholder to real

otter, sparrow, sweetgum, bluegill

  • otter — promotions. percent-off codes, fixed-amount codes, BOGO offers, flash sales with start/end windows. codes redeem at pawpaw checkout, apply as a line on mayhaw quotes, and show up automatically in the yaupon customer portal.
  • sparrow — sms marketing. text-blast pipeline with audience segments pulled from dragonfly + marigold tags, schedule-for-later, opt-in tracking, and STOP keyword handling baked in. ride your own A2P 10DLC brand registration so texts land on phones, not in spam.
  • sweetgum — 1099 contractor management. collect W-9s with a public link the contractor signs themselves, track year-to-date payments across pawpaw and bluejay, see who crossed the $600 federal threshold at a glance. actual IRS filing flows through a partner (track1099 / tax1099) — wymzy never touches the filing itself.
  • bluegill — ai chatbot for your business. your own juniper-style assistant, trained on your foxfire hours, mockingbird services, magpie products, bobcat portfolio, and junebug availability. embed it on your magnolia site or share the public link. captured leads file straight into marigold.

your url handle survives renames

your business has a public-url handle now (settable in settings). it's the front of every public link your apps mint — yellowjacket card URLs, eventually magnolia subdomains. when you change it, the old handle gets parked permanently and any URL that used the old one redirects to the new one. printed QR codes don't break. shared links don't break.

same protection on the other side: a handle that any business has used can't be silently claimed by a different business later. once you've held it, you've held it.
