request files from a customer

instead of giving the customer your email and hoping they remember, mint a request link. they upload straight into a folder you choose — no account, no app install. you get notified when each file lands.

4 steps~3 min
  1. 1

click "request files" in the toolbar

the file-request modal opens. give the request a name the customer will see ("insurance docs for the smith job") and pick the gallery the uploads should land in.

  2. 2

add a short message and limits

type a one-line message ("please upload your driver's license and proof of insurance"). optionally set a password, an expiry (24h / 7d / 30d / never), and a max-uploads count.

  3. 3

copy the link and send it

paste the link into a text or email. the customer opens it in their browser, drops files in, and that's it.

  4. 4

    watch the bell

every file that lands fires a bell notification. you'll see the count tick up on the request row in your shared-links page.

    tip

set a max-uploads count ("5") so a request for one tax form doesn't end up holding 200 photos by mistake. easy to bump if they really do have more.
