tag files and find them later

for any file you'll need to find again — contracts, tax docs, customer photos — tags beat folder structure. tag once, search anywhere.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

open a file and click "edit tags"

click the three-dot menu on the file row, then "edit tags". tags are lowercase, up to 40 characters each, max 20 per file.

  2. 2

    type or pick from suggestions

bullfrog suggests tags you've used before. add new ones inline — "tax-2026," "insurance," "signed."

  3. 3

filter by tag from the toolbar

the tag filter sits next to the search box. pick a tag and the list shrinks to just the files that carry it. searching across pdf contents (extracted full-text) works in the same search box — type a phrase and bullfrog matches it inside any pdf you've uploaded.

    tip

tag at upload time, not later. "i'll tag everything on saturday" means you never tag anything. takes 5 seconds while it's open in front of you.
