how the monthly rollup invoice works

for customers on the monthly billing rule, every completed crawdad job in a calendar month adds a line item to the same pawpaw draft. one invoice goes out at month-end with every visit on it.

    set the customer to monthly

    in dragonfly, set their billing rule to monthly. that unlocks the rollup behavior.

  2. 2

    complete jobs as usual

    every time you mark one done, crawdad finds the open draft for that customer + month and appends a line. line description is "<date> — <job title>" so the customer sees every visit individually.

  3. 3

    send the invoice on the 1st

    open pawpaw at the start of the next month. the rollup draft is in your queue, totaled, ready to send. one click and the customer pays for the whole month.

    tip

    if a customer wants twice-a-month billing instead of monthly, that's still on the roadmap — for now, do two-week cycles by hand or stay on per-visit.
