in the job detail sheet or the new-job form. start typing — the picker shows the top 10 matches in real time.

pick a match, or hit "+ new contact"
if the customer's already in dragonfly, pick them. if they're new, the inline form takes name + phone + email and lands them as a fresh contact.

open in dragonfly
once a customer is set, an "open in dragonfly" link appears under the field. one click jumps to their full record — billing rule, history, notes, everything.
tipyou don't need an email to save a customer. for walk-ins where you only have a phone number, that's enough. you can fill in the email later when they pay.
