find and clean up duplicate clients

duplicates surface as a panel from the toolbar. the count chip shows how many likely-dup clusters exist; open the panel to review them side by side and pick which to archive.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

    open the duplicates panel

the toolbar shows a duplicates pill with a live count. clicking it opens the panel with every cluster (matched by email, phone, or company name).

  2. 2

    review each cluster

every cluster shows the matched contacts side by side with reason ("shared email"). click a contact to open them; click archive to soft-delete that one.

  3. 3

    mark a cluster "not duplicates"

if it's actually two people who share a phone (a couple, family, business partners), click the "not duplicates" eye icon — the cluster won't show up again. "show ignored" toggles it back if you change your mind.

    tip

duplicate detection runs entirely in your browser over the loaded clients — nothing is shipped off your account. it works best after you bulk-import a list, not as a daily-running cleanup.
