mark a client active, at-risk, or inactive

every client carries a lifecycle pill at the top of their card — active, at-risk, or inactive. it's how you keep your real client list separate from the long tail you haven't worked with in a year.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

    open the client

click any client in the list. the lifecycle pill sits in the header next to their name.

  2. 2

    pick a status

active = currently working with them. at-risk = they're going quiet and you want to keep an eye on them. inactive = the relationship has wound down.

  3. 3

    filter by lifecycle anywhere

the toolbar's status filter narrows the table to one lifecycle group at a time. "show me everyone at-risk" is a one-click view.

    tip

leave a client at "active" by default. only flip to "at-risk" when something specific has happened — a missed payment, a complaint, three months of silence after weekly visits. the badge means more if you don't sprinkle it.
