bring a domain from godaddy, namecheap, cloudflare, anywhere — heron walks you through the dns and points it at any wymzy module.

open heron
click "heron" in the sidebar.

click "connect a domain"
the button sits at the top of the domain list.

type the bare domain name
no http://, no /path, just "acme.com." subdomains work too — "chat.acme.com" or "shop.acme.com" are fine.

save
the card flips open with two dns records you need to add at your registrar — an a record for the apex and a cname for www. the next article walks through that part.
tip
you don't have to buy a new domain to use heron. if you already own one, bring it. heron is registrar-agnostic — we don't care where you bought it.
