    every shape has connection points. hover the edge and drag to the next shape — the arrow snaps into place.

    label every step

    use the text tool to label inside each shape. keep labels short — full sentences belong in tortoise, not on the diagram.

    share or screenshot

    screenshot the canvas to drop into a tortoise sop, or share the board url with the team.

    tip

    if a shape gets too detailed, that's the signal it should be its own document — link to the tortoise page from the shape and keep the diagram clean.
