see how much labor each crawdad job ate

every entry can carry a job code that links the shift back to a crawdad job. the matching crawdad job rolls up total approved hours so you can see what each job actually cost in time.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

set the job code on the punch

either when the worker punches in or after the fact via edit. usually the slug of the crawdad job.

  2. 2

    approve the entries

approved hours are what crawdad rolls up. unapproved hours don't count yet — that's the gate.

  3. 3

    open the matching crawdad job

the job's labor section shows total approved hours and (if rates are set) labor cost in dollars. useful when you're estimating future jobs or pricing a quote.

    tip

for jobs that get billed by the hour, this number is what feeds your pawpaw line items. price the job from the time you actually spent, not the time you guessed.
