name the build ("walnut credenza for the wilsons"), pick the customer from your dragonfly list, and set the budget and target end date.

the project lands on the active list. open it to set up phases, materials, and the payment schedule — covered in the next articles.
tipname projects by the build, not the customer. "walnut credenza" beats "the wilsons." when a returning customer commissions a second build, the names stay distinct.
