heron

split one domain across multiple modules

you can run different parts of your business on different subdomains of the same domain. apex at your magnolia site, chat. at your bluegill chatbot, card. at your yellowjacket card.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

    connect the apex first

add "acme.com" to heron and point it at your magnolia website. that's the main address customers type.

  2. 2

add each subdomain as a separate domain in heron

add "chat.acme.com" as its own entry, verify it, point it at your bluegill chatbot. repeat for "card.acme.com" or anything else.

  3. 3

each subdomain gets its own dns record

subdomains use cname records (not a). heron tells you exactly what to add for each one. ssl provisions automatically per subdomain.

    tip

subdomains are also how you keep one brand consistent across modules. one customer typing "acme.com" lands on your site; a different one tapping a chat link lands on "chat.acme.com" — same business, focused experience.
