convert a won lead into a dragonfly client

when a lead actually closes, one click moves them to dragonfly. their full lead history (notes, source, conversion date) carries over so you don't lose context.

    open the won lead

    convert is for leads in the won column. open the lead from kanban or table.

    click "convert to client"

    the lead's name, email, phone, company, and tags copy over to dragonfly as a new active client. the lead row stays in marigold (filtered out of the default view) so reports can still trace where the client originated.

    the new client opens in dragonfly

    you land on their dragonfly profile with the original source attribution preserved ("from facebook ad," "from referral"). every future invoice, job, and booking ties to this profile.

    tip

    convert only fires once — the lead is stamped with the new contact id. if you click convert by mistake, the underlying contact is real and editable in dragonfly; the lead's just marked as converted.
