set follow-up reminders so leads don't slip

the difference between a closed deal and a lost one is often a single follow-up that didn't happen. marigold reminds you when a lead's been quiet too long.

    open the lead

    click any lead card. the reminders section sits below the timeline.

    click "add reminder"

    type the reminder ("call back about patio quote", "check in re: spring schedule") and pick a date — "tomorrow", "in 3 days", or a specific date.

    get pinged on the day

    marigold emails you the morning of the reminder and shows it at the top of marigold when you open the app. you can also turn on auto-reminders that ping you when a lead has gone X days without contact.

    tip

    for hot leads, use "in 1 day" or "in 2 days" — they expect to hear back fast. for warm leads who said "check back in spring", set the reminder for the actual month they mentioned.
