open an accepted quote as a gopher project

for multi-week builds — fabrication, woodwork, custom builds — accepted quotes can become gopher projects instead of (or in addition to) pawpaw invoices. line items become gopher materials with cost data ready.

    open an accepted quote

    the action row on accepted quotes has both "convert to pawpaw invoice" and "open as gopher project".

    click "open as gopher project"

    a new gopher project gets created with the customer + title from the quote, and every line item becomes a material entry (description + qty + unit cost).

  3. 3

    the quote stays accepted

    the estimate doesn't flip to "converted" — that status is reserved for pawpaw invoice conversion. you can still mint a pawpaw invoice from the quote later if you bill on milestones rather than the whole project up front.

    tip

    use gopher when the work is multi-phase and you want to track materials, draws, and progress posts separately from the bill. small-job operators can skip gopher and go straight to a pawpaw invoice.
