the customer declines from the public quote page
every quote page has accept + decline buttons. when a customer declines, mayhaw asks them for a reason — "price", "timing", "went with another vendor", "changed my mind", or free text.

the quote moves to "declined" with the reason saved
in your mayhaw list, declined quotes show their reason as a tag. you can filter by reason — "show me every quote declined for price" or "every quote declined for timing".

follow up later
for "timing" decliners, set a follow-up reminder in dragonfly for the date they mentioned. for "price" decliners, consider whether you want to come back with a stripped-down version or just learn from it.
tipdecliners are warm leads, not cold ones. they took time to consider you. a check-in 30-60 days later ("any luck on that project?") wins back about 1 in 5 declined quotes for most operators.
