auto-apply a promo without a code

for store-wide sales ("everything 10% off this week"), turn on auto-apply. customers don't have to type a code — the discount lands on every eligible cart automatically.

    create or edit a promo

    in the promo form, find the "auto apply" toggle.

    toggle it on

    every pawpaw invoice and mayhaw quote that meets the promo's rules — min subtotal, segment, eligible products / services — gets the discount line added on its own.

    watch the dashboard

    auto-applied promos still show up in the redemptions tab so you can track total discount given.

    tip

    for stackable + auto-apply combos, the math still respects per-customer + total redemption caps. otter won't blow past the cap just because the discount is automatic.
