open the analytics for a promo

every promo has an analytics modal with revenue lifted, average order value, and how many unique customers redeemed. it's the post-mortem you do before deciding to run the campaign again.

    open the promo row

    in the otter dashboard, click the analytics icon on the row.

    review the numbers

    redemptions, total discount given, total revenue from invoices that used the promo, average order value (vs. a baseline aov), unique customers, repeat redemptions, monthly trend.

    compare to baseline

    the modal shows the lift over your baseline aov so you can tell if the promo brought bigger orders or just bigger discounts on the same average order.

    tip

    promos that lift aov are doing real work. promos that just discount what the customer was going to buy anyway are cannibalizing margin. the analytics modal is where you tell them apart.
