cypress

use the audit log when something feels off

every invite, role change, and archive lands in the audit log with a timestamp and who did it. useful when access drift sneaks in or you need to retrace a permission change.

3 steps~2 min
  1. 1

    open the audit log

audit log shows on the cypress page below the team list. only owners and admins can see it.

  2. 2

    scan the recent activity

the log shows the last 30 actions — who did what, when. invited / joined / cancelled / role changed / archived all appear.

  3. 3

use it as the source of truth

if a teammate says "i never had access to that" or "i didn't change that role," the log settles it. timestamps + actor + before / after values are all there.

    tip

review the audit log monthly. drift in who has access to what is the silent kind of risk — small changes that add up to a teammate seeing more than they should.
