assign equipment to a specific person

if a tool, a phone, or a truck is checked out to a specific crew member, set the assignee on the card. helps when something goes missing or when you're tracking who has what.

    open the equipment card

    click any item.

    set the assignee

    the assignee dropdown lists everyone in cypress (your team & seats module). pick the person who has it.

    find their full kit

    filter the equipment list by assignee to see everything checked out to one person. useful for offboarding ("what does dave have that we need to get back?").

    tip

    for a truck or major tool that's effectively permanent for one person, set assignee anyway — the day they leave, you'll know what's still out.
