find the item you want to link to a vendor.

soft-link to a catfish vendor
if you've got the supplier in catfish (your vendor crm), pick them from the dropdown. the link is soft — change it later without breaking anything.

service time, you've got the supplier in one click
from the equipment card, the vendor link drops you straight to their catfish page — phone, email, payment terms, warranty info, all there.
tip
if you don't have the vendor in catfish yet, add them first. it's a 30-second add and saves you the rummage every time the equipment needs attention.
